Howard Robert Converse

Howard R. Converse, age 86 of Mason, OH, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 23rd.

Howard was born on March 5th, 1939 in Lima, OH to the late Howard and Adelva Converse. Brother to late sister, Nancy Morton.

Howard was a devoted husband of 64 years to Carol Casper Converse. Loving father to Bryan (Gina) Converse and Bethany (Jeff) Jenkins. Grandfather to Joshua Converse, JoyLynn (Joshua) Ghobar, Jamey Converse, Jodi (Connor) Davis, Nate Converse, Lyndsey Jenkins, Luke Jenkins, Ashley Converse, Isaac Converse, and Daliza Converse. Great Grandfather to Colton, Clara, Juliette, EmmaLynn, Aria and Asher.

He was a proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati and was a captain of the UC football team and also enjoyed his time as a player on the UC baseball team. After college Howard worked as a teacher and coach at Princeton High School, and then was a district manager in the insurance industry.

A visitation will take place from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday October 29th at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cin-Columbus Road, West Chester, OH 45069. A private funeral will be held for his immediate family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to City Gospel Mission or Matthew 25 Ministries.
