James Algie Hawkins passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from heart complications. He did his best to fight during his 3/4 week stay in the hospital, but his body was tired. James was called home to God and wife Jean.
He leaves behind his children: Tonya, Jimmy, George, Jack, and his step children Teresa, Doug, David.
James will be remembered by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, several brothers and sisters, and his best friend Chris Johnson.
James served the community for over 40 years by working as a Law Enforcement Security Guard. Family is accepting donations to go towards the funeral expenses. Donations may be made via Paypal to :Trisha Bardo, or to Hodapp Funeral Home in Carthage.
