James Douglas Norman, affectionately known as “Jim” or “Doug,” passed away on May 14, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife and daughter at his side. Born on August 14, 1956, in Maryland, Jim led a life filled with passion, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to his family and career.

Jim had a distinguished career at Wells Fargo, where he served as The First Vice President Senior Financial Advisor. His professional journey was marked by his dedication and expertise, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients alike.

A proud graduate of Kent State University, Jim earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Economics, which laid the foundation for his successful career in finance. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was a beacon of kindness and compassion, beloved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Jim found joy in many pursuits, especially in spending quality time with his daughter, Anna. He loved playing golf with her and helping her develop her swing. He cherished his friends at The Grizzly in Mason, Ohio. He had two hole-in-ones, most recently on hole #14 at The Grizzly with his 8 iron.

A devoted family man, Jim was supported and loved by his wife, Shelly Norman, whose companionship brought warmth and joy to his life. He also shared a special bond with his brother, Mike Norman (Melanie Norman) and maintained fond memories of his deceased family members, including his mother, Florence “Flo” Kennedy, father, Ron Kennedy, and brothers Tom Norman (Lanette Norman) and Steve Kennedy.

Jim’s interests extended beyond golf; he was a devout Catholic and participated in church activities at St. Susanna. He was an avid supporter of the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Reds. His adventurous spirit led him to travel to Arizona frequently, where he relished the opportunity to visit his daughter and create lasting memories.

As we remember James Douglas Norman, we celebrate a life well-lived, characterized by kindness, dedication to family, and a commitment to his profession. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will be forever engraved in the hearts of those who knew him. His spirit will live on through the countless lives he touched.
