STEELE, James L. Jr. Beloved husband of Shirley A. Steele for 17 years. Loving father of Sandy (Michael) Gastineau, Allison (Steve) Crawford and Lisa (Kevin) Knight. Cherished grandfather of Ryan, Hallie, Lane, Brayden, Kaleigh, Mila, and Wyatt. James is preceded in death by his father James Sr, mother Stella, and first wife Jackie. Passed away December 30, 2024 at the age of 67. Visitation will take place at the Hodapp Funeral Home 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Thursday, January 9th from 10AM until Funeral Service at 11AM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the American Kidney Association.
