Jane Ellen Hausfeld, age 69, of St. Bernard, Ohio, died peacefully on July 24, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Sally, her sister, Mary Claire Hausfeld, OFS, and her brothers-in-law Bob Hoffmeister and Scott Adams. She is survived by her siblings Jim "Hap", Judy Hoffmeister, Richard (Shelia), Bill (Liz), her twin brother John (Julie), and Carol (Bill) Adams. She is also survived by her beloved 24 nieces and nephews and spouses, and 20 great-nieces and great-nephews and spouses.

Jane was born on May 4, 1957 in St. Bernard, Ohio. She attended St. Clement grade school and St. Bernard High School. She was a staple of the city working many years for the Dial-a-Ride, and spent the rest of her career as the friendly face at the front desk of several doctors' offices. She proudly retired from The Christ Hospital in 2022.

Aunt Jane, as she was known to all, had a kind spirit and a heart of gold. She loved supporting her nieces and nephews at their sports games, school programs, graduations, weddings, and more. She also loved dogs, coloring, baking cookies, watching The Flintstones, and bringing her signature side dish of Ribbon Jell-o to every family function. She was a steady, loving presence in the Hausfeld family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held at St. Clement Church, 4536 Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45217 on Thursday, July 30 from 10 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial service will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in St. Bernard. A celebration of life will immediately follow at the St. Bernard Eagles, and all are welcome.
