Janet Creed

• Beloved and devoted wife of Steve Creed for 49 years. Loving mother of Allison (Mike) Turner and Ryan Creed. Dear grandmother of Lauren and Natalie Turner. Cherished twin sister, Jan joins her late twin brother Jerry (surviving Molly) Catanzaro and dear brother Bobby Catanzaro. Dear daughter of the late Cosmo and Bernice Catanzaro. Jan is also be survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

• Jan was born Monday, September, 22, 1952 in Cheviot Ohio. She attended St. Martins Grade School, Mercy High School, and then the University of Cincinnati. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, but liked dogs more. She also enjoyed girl-friend golf (where they did not keep score), playing bridge, five mile a day walks, reading and was very involved in arts and crafts. Her passion, however, was doing things for others and she was amazing at it:

• Distributed Communion Mercy Fairfield Hospital for 30 years
• Made wrist rosaries for all patients at Mercy Hospitals in Greater Cincinnati.
• Vice-President of the Fairfield Food Pantry
• Volunteer accountant for Fairfield Community Foundation
• Chaired the Sacred Heart Festival for 15 years
• Co-chaired the One Faith, One Hope, One Love Campaign for Sacred Heart
• Head of the communion distributors for Sacred Heart.
• Brought back and co-chaired the Sacred Heart Parish Picnic
• Founded and led the Ladies Day of Reflection at Sacred Heart

• Her benevolence throughout Greater Cincinnati has been felt by many and she will be missed dearly.

• Jan passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at age 73.
• 
  
• 
  
• Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044, on Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 4-7 PM.
• 
  
• Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following day at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 400 Nilles Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014, Friday, April 10, 2026 at 10 AM.
• 
  
• Celebration of Jan’s life will be following at Clovernook Country Club.
•
