Jean Ann Cifuentes (nee Terwilleger), beloved wife of 70 years to the late James “Jim” Cifuentes, was welcomed into God’s loving arms and reunited with her beloved Jim in Eternal Life on August 8th, 2025 at the age of 91. She was a devoted mom to Gregory (Carolyn) Cifuentes, Martin (Cindy) Cifuentes, James (Renee) Cifuentes, Susan Keane, Donna (John) Brown, Matthew (Linda) Cifuentes, Patrick (Shari) Cifuentes, Beth Jones, Joel (Melissa) Cifuentes, David (Nancy) Cifuentes; a loving grandmother to 29 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, 4 step-grandchildren, and 7 step-great-grandchildren; and a dear sister to Joyce Smith (Terwilleger).
Jean was born on June 24, 1934, in Lockland Ohio to the late John Terwilleger and Marie Terwilleger (nee Early). She graduated from Lockland High School, and met Jim, the love of her life, while visiting her sister Joan in San Diego, California. Jean and Jim were married on November 15, 1952.
Jean was predeceased by her brother Jack Terwilleger, her sister Joan Schroeder (Terwilleger), and her grandson LCPL Michael Cifuentes.
Being a wife, mom, Grandma, and Grams was Jean’s pride and joy in life. She enjoyed playing cards and games with her family, and especially loved dancing with Jim, be it next to the record player in the family room, at a wedding or at the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Over the years, she volunteered at her church for various events, including baking for bake sales, helping with the garage sale and festival - but what meant the most to her was teaching English to members of the Hispanic community.
