Jennifer Templin

Jennifer Niesel Templin passed away unexpectedly at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, on July 31, 2023. Born September 27, 1970 in Cincinnati to Robert Niesel and Carolyn Hall. She attended St Joseph High School and graduated from the University of Dayton.

She is preceded in death by her father Robert Niesel and infant son Max. Wife of 29 years, to Joseph Templin.  Proud and devoted mother of Conner and Owen. 

Jen was employed as an intervention specialist for 26 years at Bauer Elementary in Miamisburg. Besides always making those around her laugh and making her presence known,  Jen had an immense love of gardening and crafting. Her back yard was a sanctuary for raising monarch butterflies.

Being a University of Dayton graduate she was passionate about everything UD, especially basketball. 

A Visitation will take place at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Road, West Chester on Friday, August 4th, 2023 from 5 pm to 8 pm.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home on Saturday, August 5th, 2023 at 10 am..  A graveside service will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
