Jeri Lynne Reed

August 18, 1961 — December 5, 2025

Jeri Lynne Reed, a beloved member of her family and a respected professional in her field, passed away peacefully at her home on December 5, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on August 18, 1961, in New Haven, Connecticut, Jeri will be remembered for her strong will, sharp intellect, and unwavering dedication to her family and career. Jeri was known for her strong personality, often described as stubborn yet exceptionally smart.

Jeri's professional journey led her to become the BSI Engineering Accounting Specialist, where her extraordinary skills with finances were recognized and appreciated by colleagues and clients alike. Her hard work and commitment to excellence were evident in everything she undertook.

Aside from her professional accomplishments, Jeri’s true joy came from the time she spent with her family. She loved going fishing with her husband Dave.  They loved the beach.  She was known for orchestrating holiday dinners and beloved movie nights. It was a priority for her to attend everything from recitals to Tae Kwon Do ceremonies, demonstrating her love and support. She loved hosting sleepovers with games, movies, and favorite foods that her grandkids' treasured.

Her passions extended beyond family gatherings; Jeri had a profound love for music, which she enjoyed hearing at concerts. A talented musician herself, she sang as well as played several instruments. Jeri also collected beautiful mini statues and knick-knacks, which often featured her love for carousel horses, dolphins, and dragons. Her favorite color was purple, and she had a special fondness for cardinals, roses, and daisies.

Jeri is survived and cherished by her devoted, loving husband, Dave Reed and her children; Joia (John), Jeremy (Vanessa), and James (Faye). She is treasured by her grandchildren; Jessica, Julianna, Jacob, Adeline, Summer, Zac, and Paige. Jeri is also deeply missed by her sisters Karen, Cheryl, Lisa, and Suzie.

Jeri was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Bennett, father Chet Bennett, and sister Tracy Tallberg.

As we remember Jeri Lynne, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and strength. Her legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her—the bonds she forged and the memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
