Joan Hughes

Joan Hughes (Baylor) 91, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on June 14, 2023.

Beloved Mother of Kathleen Hudepohl and Kelly Nelson (Dave).  Cherished Grandmother to 4, Laura (Nick), Gregory (Lindsay), Robert and Patrick (Mary), sweet “Gigi” to 4 Great Grandchildren, Grace, Brayden, Molly Kate and Faith.   Welcomed in heaven by her parents Grace and Donald Baylor and husband, Robert Hughes.

Joan was a devout Catholic and a member of Good Shepherd Church for over 30 years.  She was an avid reader and volunteered at Bethesda North Hospital for over 20 years.  She enjoyed watching Xavier basketball and FC Cincinnati games.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Thursday June 29th from 10 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, at St. Susanna Church, 616 Reading Rd., Mason, with lunch reception to follow.  Family will gather at St. Mary’s Cemetery (St. Bernard) following reception.
