Joann "Janet" Schmitz

(nee Woeste) beloved wife of the late Joseph “Gus” Schmitz, loving mother of Mary Rose “Rosie” (Jim) Bernard, Margie Schmitz (Ron Shaw), Karl (Julie) Schmitz and Betty Hancock, cherished grandmother of Katie (Amanda) Apted, Laura (Zach) Oliverio and Alex (Ashley Pelfrey) Hancock, doting great-grandmother of Camden Hancock, sister of Claire Merman and the late Regina Daesch and Charlie Woeste, sister-in-law of Joseph Daesch and Jane Woeste, aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Janet passed away on Saturday October 19, 2024 at age 91. Visitation at Assumption Church, 7711 Joseph, Mt.
