John Kaito

John Kaito, 86, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family at Traditions of Deerfield. He was born February 26, 1939, in Iselin, PA, to the late Joseph and Annabell Kaito.

John proudly served in the Army before working at Federal Labs and in the coal mines until his retirement. He and his late wife, Elizabeth, shared 60 years of marriage and built their home in Clarksburg, PA, where they raised their family.

He enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles, playing 500 Rummy, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, coaching his son’s baseball team, and attending family reunions at Idlewild Park.

John is survived by his children, Denise Boschert and Jason Kaito; his grandchildren, Travis and his wife McKenzie Boschert, and Steven Boschert; and his sisters, Virginia Toth and Mary Ellen Flores. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth; his son, John Kaito; and his brothers Charles, Joe, Frank, and Jim.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
