John Noffke

June 29, 1926 — June 20, 2018

NOFFKE, John passed away on June 20, 2018 at the age of 91, at Glendale Place Care Center. He was the loving husband of the late Marian Jean Noffke for over 67 years. John was born on September 29, 1926 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Louis P. and Phillipine Frey Noffke. He enlisted in the US Army Air Force during WW2 and served in Panama. He attended the University of Cincinnati and received a BS in Architecture in 1953 and remained a lifelong active member of Pi Kappa Alpha faternity. He worked at various architectural firms finishing as an associate at Steed, Hammond, Paul of Hamilton, Ohio. He was an expert wood carver, modeler and avid radio control aircraft enthusiast. John is survived by sons Steve Noffke of Cincinnati, OH and Mark (Dianne) Noffke of Virginia Beach, VA, grandsons Alexander J. Noffke of Virginia Beach , VA and William R. Noffke of Maui, HI. The family will receive friends on Saturday June 30^th from 2 PM – 4 PM at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45224.
