Joyce Diane Bartlett, fondly known as Diane, passed away peacefully at home in Maineville on December 19, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on January 13, 1942, in Cincinnati, Diane was a beacon of love and a source of warmth for all who knew her. Her life was marked by a perpetual smile and an unwavering kindness that embodied her loving personality.
Diane enjoyed her education at William Mason High School, where she likely began to cultivate the incredible relationships that would define her life. She had an innate ability to bring people together and always cherished spending time with her family, creating countless memories that continue to resonate with those she left behind.
Throughout her life, Diane found joy in the simple pleasures, such as indulging in her favorite chocolate malts from UDF, a small treat that perfectly encapsulated her delight in life's little joys. Her caring nature and gentle spirit were evident in everything she did.
Diane is survived by her beloved brother George Bartlett (Peggy), and sisters-in-law Brenda Bartlett and Patsy Bartlett, who will forever hold dear the memories of their time together. Her legacy continues through her cherished children: Joyce Natalie Stacy (nee Hanson), James David Hanson, Paul Daniel Hanson, Diana Lynn Cossentino (nee Hanson, Frank), and Casey Howell. Each of them carries a piece of her heart into the world.
Diane's grandchildren—Mandy Lynn Hill, Paul Daniel Hanson Jr., Ryan Tyler Hanson, Brittany Nicole Augustine (nee Hanson), Cody Matthew Hanson (Lauren), Deonna Lynn Sora (nee Cossentino, TJ), Alesha Marie Lutz (nee Cossentino, Mike), and Matthew Paul Cossentino (Ripleigh)—were the apple of her eye, and she rejoiced in their accomplishments and happiness. Each visit, each smile they shared, was a treasure for her.
Adding further to her legacy are her adored great-grandchildren: Parker Hill (Gwen), Tyler Hill, Morgan Hill, Bryann Augustine, Shaylee Augustine, Kali Augustine, Juniper Hanson, Cypress Hanson, Luca Cossentino, Harper Lutz, Ezekiel Lutz, and Giovanni Sora. The love Diane poured into her family has created a tapestry of connection that generations will continue to weave.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Evelyn Bartlett, as well as her brothers Sonny Bartlett (Ruth), Wally Bartlett, and Richard Bartlett. Though they are no longer with us, their love and memories remain a guiding light for Diane’s family, who find solace in the knowledge that she is reunited with them.
As we remember Joyce Diane Bartlett, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and family bonds that will never break. Her spirit is eternally present in the hearts of those she leaves behind, and her legacy of kindness and joy will continue to inspire.
