Judith Ann Reenan (nee McDermott)

Judith Ann "Judy" Reenan (née McDermott), of Colerain Township, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on April 14, 1946, in College Hill, Ohio, Judy’s life was a quiet testament of devotion— to her family, her work, and the creatures she held dear.

For more than thirty years, Judy served as a dental assistant—a role that reflected her steady hands and steadfast spirit. Her dedication was not just to the tasks at hand but to the people whose lives she touched through her gentle professionalism.

Judy shared 56 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Danny Michael Reenan (Mike). She was a loving mother to Patrick Michael Reenan and his wife Susan René Reenan, and to Regina Ann Davidson and her husband Wesley Ray Davidson. Her legacy continues through her 4 grandchildren: Delanie Rhyan Reenan, Alexa René Reenan, Zachary Michael Davidson, and Kyle Patrick Davidson.

She also cherished close bonds with extended family members including her brother-in-law Richard D. Reenan and his wife Karen Reenan. The memory of those who went before her remained close to her heart—her sisters Betty Lois Weggans and Phyllis Gellenbeck; sisters-in-law Ruth E. Reenan, Shirley Pangallo (Reenan), Rosemary Conlon (Reenan), and brother-in-law John L. Reenan Jr.

A lifelong animal lover, Judy found joy in the companionship of animals great and small. Her black lab Memphis held a special place in her heart—offering comfort in quiet moments and companionship.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hodapp Funeral Home located at 6041 Hamilton Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45224. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. Burial will take place immediately after at Crown Hill Cemetery at 11825 Pippin Rd., Cincinnati.
