Judith Lynn Salyers

Judith Lynn Salyers, 73, of Liberty Township, passed away on her birthday, May 19th, 2025. Born in Ohio in 1952 to Carl and Helen, Judith was a passionate and loving woman devoted to her faith and her family. She approached life with unwavering faith, confidently believing that Jesus always had her back.

Judith will be remembered for her profound love for Jesus, her family, and her friends. Her gentle spirit and kind demeanor resonated with all who knew her, and those fortunate enough to hear her say, “I’m on it… I’ll be praying,” will cherish that memory. Her nurturing nature earned her the treasured title of “Yaya” among her grandchildren—Reece, Mercedes, and Tatum—who brought immense joy to her life. She delighted in spending time with them, whether playing games, crafting, or simply enjoying the peaceful moments on the porch with her coffee, watching them run and play. Her laughter and radiant smile brought warmth into their lives and will be profoundly missed every day.

Judith was the beloved mother of Joseph Hess and his wife, Sara. She was more than just a mother-in-law; she was an incredible friend and confidante, always willing to listen and offer her support. Judith’s love and encouragement were invaluable to her family and friends, creating bonds that will last a lifetime.

An active member of her community, Judith was a prayer warrior and served in numerous ministries throughout her adult life. With a passion for her faith, she initiated many ministries and played a pivotal role in mentoring countless individuals in their spiritual journeys. If the church doors were open, Judith was there, radiating her love for the Lord and enriching the lives of those around her with her heartfelt prayers. Her faith was remarkable and a shining example of what it means to be a true woman of God.

Judith is survived by her brothers, Tom and Jeff, along with their families, who will remember her fondly. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Carl and Helen.

The legacy Judith leaves behind is one of love, faith, and unyielding support. Her impact on those she encountered will forever echo in their hearts, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who were lucky enough to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on June 6, 2025 at 6689 Hansbrinker Dr. Liberty Township, OH 45044, where friends and family are invited to come and go as you please between 5-8 PM. There will be a variety of sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, chips and cake! Come enjoy each other company and share all the incredible memories of Judith Salyers as we honor her wishes!
