Kathleen Marie Burke

Kathleen O’Brien Burke (formerly Sister Mary Kenan, OSF), passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025 at age 92. Born in Cincinnati, OH on April 3, 1933. Kathleen was the beloved wife of the late William T. Burde. She is survived by her loving sister Marilyn (late Don) Uhlinger, William (Mary Carol) O’Brien, several nieces and nephews and dear friend Sister Edna, OSF. Kathleen and her late husband adopted many cats and dogs.

Kathleen was devoted to educating thousands of children in her teaching career, and to helping wherever she saw a need.
