Kevin L. Bollhorst

Kevin L. Bollhorst, a beloved husband, cousin, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026. Born on February 17, 1961, Kevin lived a life marked by generosity, warmth, and an infectious sense of humor that touched all who knew him.

Kevin earned his bachelor's degree in Physics from Purdue University, a testament to his sharp intellect and lifelong curiosity. Beyond his academic achievements, he found joy in simple yet profound pleasures. He was an avid enthusiast of building Legos, a passion reflecting both his creativity and meticulous nature. Reading and listening to music were also among his cherished pastimes, providing him peace and inspiration throughout his life.

Family was central to Kevin’s world. He is deeply mourned by his loving wife Melissa, who stood by his side through the years. He is also survived by his cousins George Bollhorst, Vickie (David) Dinsmore, Mike (Rhonda) McLaughlin, Melinda (Dennis) Bagley, Patrick (Carlye) McLaughlin, and Matthew (Jeanette) McLaughlin, along with his nephew Ryan and niece Leah. Their shared memories and enduring bonds are a testament to the close-knit family Kevin treasured so much.

Kevin was predeceased by his parents, Sherry and Lee Bollhorst, whose legacy of love and strength he carried forward with grace.

Honoring Kevin's memory, visitation will be held on March 23, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hodapp Funeral Homes - Carthage, located at 7401 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45216. A graveside service will follow on March 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 11000 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45249.
