Kevin J. Hein, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Kevin was the loving husband of Ruth A. Hein (nee Hanekamp). Devoted father of Matthew L. Hein, Jennifer (Alexander) Crosby (nee Hein), Rebecca (Nathaniel) Pelfrey (nee Hein), and Eric M. Hein.
Kevin was the proud and cherished grandfather of Aubree E. Cunningham, Grace Pelfrey, Jackson Pelfrey, Bentley Kevin Crosby, and Maverick M. Crosby. He was the beloved brother of Mark (Terri) Hein, Michael (Marilyn) Hein, Melissa (Phillip) Parker, David (Kate) Hein, Dennis (Veronica) Hein, Deanna (Chris) Szempruch, and Karla (Rob) Garcia. He will also be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.
Kevin was preceded in death by his loving parents, Phillip and Patricia Hein (nee Schultz).
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45224.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. Catharine of Siena Church, 2848 Fischer Place, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45211.
The procession will lead Kevin to his final resting place at St. Joseph Cemetery, 4500 Foley Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238.
Kevin will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his strength, kindness, and the countless lives he touched throughout his life. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
