POWERS, Lawrence A., beloved husband of the late Margaret Powers, dear father of Thomas (Diane) Powers, Richard (Debra) Powers, David (Kristina) Powers, Lawrence (the late Jill) Powers, Diane (Mark) Statt, Dan (Nancy) Powers, Kathleen (Paul) Terry, Barbara (Lee) Howell and Timothy (Gina) Powers, also survived by 23 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 6 expected great grandchildren, brother of William (Kathleen) Powers and the late Rose Dearing, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friday, May 8, 2009, age 86. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Monday 5-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10 a.m. at St. James of the Valley Church, 411 Springfield Pike, Wyoming. Mr. Powers worked for P&G for 35 years and was a member of St. Bernard Eagles Aerie #1162. Memorials may be made to charity of donor’s choice.
