Lawrence B. Lamping

LAMPING, Lawrence Bernard “Larry,” went to be with the Lord peacefully, surrounded by family and loved ones, Friday May 1, 2026 at 89 years of age. Loving husband of 50 years of the late Gail Lamping (née Ruwe). Beloved companion of Joyce Bender. Father of Greg (Patricia) Lamping, Lisa (Greg) Risch, Lori (Pete) Messinger, John (Ann) Lamping, and the late Mike Lamping. Grandfather of Mariana (Josh) Lukas, Rebecca (Stephen) Schmidt, Joseph Lamping, Mindy (Tim Wissel) Roark, Tim (Jenn) Roark, and Adam and Emily Lamping. Great-grandfather of Hayden, Ava, and Remi Schmidt, Elizabeth and Alexandra Roark. Larry was the oldest of nine siblings including Jim (Joan), Bob (Margie), Shirley (Milt) Kleinholz, Janet (Robert) Boley, Barbara, David, Jo Ann (Don) Parker, Ray (Sharon). Larry also had numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial St. Clare Church, 1443 Cedar Ave., College Hill, Friday, May 8, 10 a.m.
