Lela A. Mink, affectionately known as "Bead," passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, at Good Samaritan, surrounded by the grace of God. Born on August 7, 1932, in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, Lela was a beacon of kindness and love throughout her life.

A proud graduate of Mt. Vernon High School, class of May 18, 1951, Lela dedicated a significant portion of her career to General Electric before retiring. Her life was characterized by an unwavering commitment to her family, which she always placed above herself. Lela's home was a sanctuary of warmth and hospitality; she enjoyed cooking large meals and planning family events that brought joy to those around her. Her loving and gracious nature was evident in her passion for sewing, crochet, fishing, and reading the Bible, as well as her fervent participation in the Church of Christ in Sharonville.

Lela is survived by her beloved daughter, Pamela A. Willig and husband Henry P. Willig; her granddaughter, Crystal L. Edwards and her husband Richard Edwards; her grandson, Jason R. Knight, and his wife, Leanna Knight; and six cherished great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Olivia, Maci, Brynna, Allyson, and Karyss. These family members are a testament to the amazing family that Lela raised, a source of immense pride throughout her life.

Lela joins in eternal rest her late husband, Amos Mink; her mother, Dosha Owens Overbay; her father, Elza Overbay; and her siblings, Burb Overbay, Arie Lukas Overbay, Linda Overbay, and Laura Overbay. Their memories will forever be cherished, as Lela leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and faith that will resonate through the lives of her family.

As we celebrate Lela's life, we remember her kind spirit, her selflessness, her deep faith, and the many cherished moments spent at Lake Cumberland and the beach in South Carolina, which highlight the love she had for her family and her commitment to creating lasting memories.
