Linda Lou Pontzloff, a beloved wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, passed peacefully at the Otterbein Senior Life Facility in Middletown, Ohio on May 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and love. Born on May 17, 1949, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Linda lived 76 wonderful years, filling the hearts of those around her with her cheerful spirit and boundless affection.
Linda lived a life rich with devotion. A dedicated wife to Kenneth Pontzloff for 54 years, she embodied the strength and resilience that come from a partnership built on love and understanding. As a mother, she nurtured her children—Kevin (Kavya), Kristel (Paul) Flood, Korey (Carrie), and Kyle (Mary) Pontzloff—with the same care and commitment throughout her years.
Linda reveled in the joy of family gatherings, where laughter and cherished moments were woven into the fabric of their lives. The delight she found in spending time with her grandchildren—Zachary and Ryan Flood, Charlotte, Graham and Gabriel Pontzloff, Kriya Pontzloff, and Emma, Ella, Ava, and Anna Pontzloff—is a testament to the love that flourished within her heart. Each memory shared, and game played served to illustrate the bond she nurtured with those she held dear.
Beyond her cherished role in the family, Linda enjoyed cooking, gardening, and bird watching. She found solace and satisfaction in knitting and crocheting, creating heirlooms for her loved ones that will endure beyond her own time. A walk in the park with Ken and her beloved French bulldog, Bella brought her great joy.
She loved the simple pleasures of life, whether they came from a spirited card game with family or quiet moments enjoying nature.
Linda's nurturing spirit extended beyond her family, as she was a volunteer within her church community, further illustrating her devotion to helping others and the selflessness that defined her character.
As we say goodbye we remember not only the void left in her absence but also the mark she has made upon our hearts. Linda will forever be remembered with love, her spirit living on through Ken, her children, and grandchildren, and through the cherished memories that will continue to inspire and bring comfort to those she left behind.
Linda is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Felix and Esther Golonka, and her siblings: Patricia (Leonard) Spyhaulski, Dolores Golonka, Laurel (Frank) Ocenosak, Eugene (Sylvia) Golonka, and Sandra Golonka.
