Louis Bohn

May 22, 1944 — May 17, 2026

Louis (Lou) Herbert Bohn, age 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Lou is survived by his wife, Mary Carol (nee Rawdon); his sons Jeff (Tina), Chris (Heather), and Brian (Tami); and his six cherished grandchildren, of whom he was immensely proud. He is also survived by his sisters, Margaret Parks and Patricia Longi and preceded in death by his sister Betty Ann (Jim) Schmid and brother Donald (Mary Ann) Bohn Jr.

Born to Donald and Rose Mary Bohn and raised in Cincinnati, Lou attended Nativity School and St. Xavier HS, before graduating from Xavier University. After college, he served in the U.S. Army and was deployed to Vietnam for a tour of duty. After his service to our country, Lou began a long career in property management.

Lou was an engaged member of his community, his church, and St. Xavier. One of his proudest contributions was serving as the chair for the inaugural St. Xavier Athletic Hall of Fame raising money for the school. Lou enjoyed gathering with his high school classmates and sharing stories. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed many golf trips with friends to destinations across the country. Over the years, he always looked forward to reconnecting with his fellow service members at reunions.

Above all, Lou treasured time with his family. He found the greatest joy in time spent with his wife, parents, siblings, children, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren.

Lou has donated his body to University of Cincinnati College of Medicine for Parkinson’s research to better understand the disease with the hopes of helping others in the future.

Services for Lou will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
