Lynda Ramminger

August 8, 1945 — November 29, 2025

Mason

Lynda “Lee” Ramminger, 80, of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025. Born August 8, 1945, in Covington, Kentucky, Lee was known for her wit, creativity, and bright spirit. A talented hair stylist and lifelong lover of books, movies, and art, she brought light and laughter everywhere she went.

She shared nearly 40 years of marriage with her loving husband, Frank Ramminger—her “knight on the white horse,” who she loved teasing for having no sense of urgency. Their life together was full of laughter, adventure, travel, and an unwavering devotion that inspired everyone around them.

She is survived by her son Chuck Cleveland, daughter Susan Flannery Skelton, and stepson Greg Ramminger; her grandchildren Whitney Payne, ShyKayla Jones, Chrystina Tillery, Mallory Skelton, Jenni Wysong, and Ryan Ramminger; many great-grandchildren, and of course her dog baby, Gizmo, who was always by her side, even at the end. She was preceded in death by daughters Shawna and Tara Cleveland, stepson Mike Ramminger, grandson Alex Skelton, and her mother Eileen Sebree.

One of the most meaningful chapters of Lee’s life began ten years ago when she reunited with her biological daughter, Susan Flannery Skelton. This blessing brought deep meaning and healing to both of their lives.

Lee’s grandchildren remember her as “magical”—the Mimi who hugged the tightest, the Gigi who shined the brightest, the Nana Lee who showed up to everything with style, humor, and love.

In keeping with her wishes, Lee has been cremated. A private graveside ceremony will be held at a later date for close friends and family; details will be shared soon.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to HART Animal Rescue — a cause dear to Lee’s heart, where she generously dedicated her time helping animals. Gifts may be made online at rescueahart.org/donate in memory of Lee Ramminger.
