Macomb Duff Brown

Macomb Duff Brown, known as "Duff” to friends and family, passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 90 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda (nee Fagin). He is survived by his three sons, Bob (Michelle), Dave (Vikkie), and Denny (Christy). He was known as Papa to 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Duff had a long career in sales, spending most of his career with the William Powell Company selling industrial valves. Later, he sold interlocking security devices with Sigma Controls. He had a brief stint with FC Kingston, giving him the opportunity to travel to their headquarters in London. He retired, but missed being “in the game” – he continued to work into his 80s with Thoma Associates. Duff loved traveling and often brought his wife Linda along on these adventures. They enjoyed their time together exploring the country. Duff was happily conscripted to Linda‘s active volunteering, assisting with volunteer coordination at the ATP, and chairing WCET’s Action Auction back in the 1980s. Visitation to be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Ave., College Hill, 45224 from 9:30 am to 10:30 followed by a Celebration of Life starting at 10:30.
