Margaret Patricia Wesley, born on May 10, 1938, left this world on December 29, 2025. She lived a life marked by resilience, dedication, and an unwavering spirit. Margaret was a loving wife to James David Wesley, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage, building a life filled with love and support.
For over 25 years, Pat served as a case worker for the Department of Human Services for Hamilton County, demonstrating her commitment to helping those in need. Her compassion extended beyond her professional life as she worked as a teacher's aide and bus driver for the Warren County Developmental Disabilities program, actively supporting her son Michael during his time at Green Knoll school. She also made an impact on the WCDD program by serving on the board of Warren County MRDD for four years. Her advocacy for her son and others within the WCDD program showcased her passion for inclusion and fairness, values she instilled in her family.
Pat's character was defined by her strength. Despite enduring significant challenges, including the loss of 90% of her eyesight over the last 15 years, she remained unyielding in her pursuit of life’s joys and responsibilities. Her remarkable ability to rebound from surgeries without complaint was a testament to her resilient nature. She was not only a devoted mother but also the biggest cheerleader for her children, empowering them in every endeavor.
Beyond her professional and familial roles, Pat found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved sitting on her front porch in a rocking chair, listening to Christian and Gospel music, taking leisurely walks around her neighborhood, and nurturing her passion for flowers. She cherished her time spent at her church, surrounded by her beloved church family.
Pat is survived by her daughters Lori (Mike) Bauer and Tracy (Melven) Williams, her son Todd Wesley, and her five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, who carry forward her legacy of kindness and strength. She also leaves behind two beloved grand dogs, Kooper and Bella.
Margaret Patricia Wesley's life was a shining example of love, service, and strength. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be held on January 13, 2026, at Hodapp Funeral Homes - West Chester, located at 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Rd., West Chester, OH 45069. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM, concluding at 1:00 PM.
