Marianne Misch

Marianne Misch (née Bastis), of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on May 17, 1954, in Cincinnati, she was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother.

Marianne was the beloved daughter of Anna Marie (née Testa) and Anthony F. Bastis, both of whom have preceded her in death. She grew up in Cincinnati with her close-knit family which included her parents, sister, grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was married to Michael J. Misch later in life, who also preceded her in death.

Marianne is survived by her sister, Terry Bastis (Portland, OR), daughter, Cristy Rohman (née Young), and her son-in-law, Neil Rohman. She took immense joy in being a Mimi to Blake and Ben Rohman, often sharing stories, laughter, and her love of cooking with them, leaving them with cherished memories. Additionally, Marianne is remembered fondly by her many cousins and close friends, many of whom she loved like family.

Marianne will be profoundly missed but lovingly remembered in the hearts of all who knew her.

A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, February 11 at noon inside the chapel at The Good Shepherd (8815 East Kemper Road, Cincinnati, OH 45249).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or American Heart Association.
