Marilyn A. Capano, born on May 9, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, in Mason, Ohio. Marilyn was a remarkable individual whose life was defined by her dedication to education and her loving family.
Marilyn earned her Bachelor's degree with Honors from Wilmington College, reflecting her commitment to academic excellence. Her educational journey was a testament to her determination and passion for learning, qualities she instilled in her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Capano, and other family members who will be remembered fondly: her mother, Katherine Ludwig Hennessy; her father, John Hennessy; and her son, Lawrence Fredrick.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Sandra Fredrick McDonald, and her son-in-law, Charles McDonald. She is also survived by her daughters, Diana Honerlaw and Christine Wurzbacher, along with their respective spouses, Steve Honerlaw and Mark Wurzbacher. Marilyn's legacy continues through her nine cherished grandchildren and her eighteen great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored and took great pride in.
As a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Marilyn fostered a nurturing environment filled with love and support. Her generous spirit and unwavering kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Marilyn A. Capano will be deeply missed by her family and friends, whose lives she touched with grace and warmth.
