Mary Anne (Murphy) Bauer born on January 29th 1936, passed away December 21st 2018.
Mary Anne Bauer was a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio for 46 years. She graduated from high school in Crookston, Minnesota and received her teaching degree from St. Catherine University in Minneapolis. She taught primary grades for 20 years in Minnesota prior to moving to Cincinnati. Here she taught another 20 years including 10 years in the Cincinnati Public School district. She loved children especially her two foster sons John and Peter Le.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years Peter Bauer and two half brothers Richard Breidenbach of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Joseph Breidenbach of Seattle, Washington and sister-in-law Michi Murphy of Seattle. Preceded in death by her parents James Murphy and Anna Mary (Helm) Murphy, brothers: Donald, John Wayne and Jim, sister: June (Murphy) Clark, half brothers: Eddie Murphy and Pat Murphy and half sisters: Lucile (Murphy) Van Piper, Eileen (Murphy) Degenhart and June Agnes Murphy (who passed away as a young child).
A visitation will be held from 6pm - 9pm on Friday December 28th at Hodapp Funeral Home (6041 Hamilton Avenue).
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Clare Church College Hill (1443 Cedar Avenue) on Saturday December 29th at 10:30am.
