Mary Carole Talley-Draise (née Mueller), passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 91. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert A. Draise and four devoted children, Teryl (Jim Setter) Talley, Colleen (Bob) Haun, Tom (Toni Trilk) Talley, and Ted (Kim) Talley. She was cherished by her eight grandchildren: Andrea, Erin, Amy, Bob, Tom, Tim, Brian, and the late Krissy; and 18 great-grandchildren.
One of Carole's greatest joys was the world just outside her kitchen window. Her yard was more than a garden - it was a true nature preserve, which she and her husband Bob lovingly cultivated over many years. She was fascinated by the wildlife that visited each day, from birds of every kind to foxes, coyotes, wild turkeys, turkey vultures, and more. She knew the rhythms of nature and appreciated every season for the beauty it brought. Her flower gardens reflected the same care and love she gave to everything around her, filling her home with color and creating a peaceful haven for both people and wildlife.
Even in her 91st year, Carole found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She and Bob cherished their daily tradition of completing the puzzles in the Cincinnati Enquirer together, enjoying the challenge and the time they shared. She never passed up the opportunity for a spirited game of dominoes with family or friends. She had a gentle heart, a curious mind, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of the natural world. Her kindness, quiet joy, and love of life's everyday moments will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will take place at St. Vivian Church, 7600 Winton Rd., Finneytown on Thursday, July 9th at 9:00AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Hospice of Cincinnati.
