Mary E. Mosinski entered the arms of Jesus on December 1, 2025, surrounded by the prayers and love of her family.
Born on December 30, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary grew up with a gentle spirit, a creative heart, and a love for the beauty God placed in the world. In 2017 she followed her dream of moving to South Carolina where she cherished the warm sunshine and the simple joy of being close enough to drive to the beach.
Mary was a gifted floral designer whose hands brought life to every bloom she touched. She never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and seen. Her kindness was quiet and steady. Her strength was deep. Her love was unconditional.
Of all the roles she held in her life, being a Mom was her greatest joy. She adored her daughters and taught them to walk in courage and faith. She believed with her whole heart that with God all things were possible and she lived that truth through every hardship and every victory. Mary fought her long battle with cancer with grace, determination, and hope that never wavered.
Mary is survived by her husband, Dennis Mosinski. She is also survived by her daughters, Michelle McLain (nee Polley) and Jennifer Jones Harrison (nee Polley), as well as her cherished grandchildren, David and Violet McLain. Her love will continue to live on through them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia Shrimpton (nee Hamaker) and Thomas Shrimpton, and her sisters Kathleen Shrimpton and Christine Flora (nee Shrimpton).
Mary finished her race with faith and perseverance. Her life beautifully reflects the words of 2 Timothy 4:7-8:
“I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness which the Lord will award to me on that day.”
Mary left this world the same way she lived in it. With love. With courage. With beauty. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now fully healed and in the presence of her Savior.
