Mary E. Parsons

Mary E. Parsons, age 96, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026. 

Mary was born on February 14, 1930, to Mary and Earl Fields. She lived a long and meaningful life centered around her family, who were her greatest pride and joy.

Mary is survived by her five children: Michael (late Pam) Mayborg, Patricia (late Dale) Rieman, William (late Marcia) Mayborg, Gregory Mayborg, and Jeffrey (Jamie) Mayborg. She also leaves behind a large and loving family, including 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She shared 40 years of marriage with her first husband, Elmer Mayborg, until his passing. She later found love again and married Norman Parsons, and they spent 12 years together until his passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved daughter, Linda (Dan) Davis.

Mary will be remembered for her enduring love of family, her strength, and the warmth she shared with those around her. Her legacy lives on through the many generations she helped shape and nurture. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her. 

Funeral services will be held April 1, 2026, 10-12 PM at Hodapp Funeral Home located at 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45044. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Dayton National Cemetery located at 4400 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428.
