In Loving Memory of Melanie Dawn Hunt

Melanie Dawn Hunt, born on May 17, 1959, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026, at the age of 67.

Melanie will be lovingly remembered by her life partner, Paul Painter, and family; Pat and Tom Coey; and the many dear friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and friendship. She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Stout; her aunt, Francie King; and many other beloved family members.

Melanie truly loved her job and cherished the people she worked with. She especially enjoyed taking cruises, spending time admiring the beautiful flowers and garden she and Paul lovingly cared for, and found comfort and strength in prayer. She also dearly loved her two faithful companions, Cheeto and Cedo, who brought her endless joy and unconditional love.

Melanie’s warmth, love of life, and caring heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have shared in her life.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Melanie’s life on Friday, July 31, 2026, with Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 am at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Road, West Chester, OH 45069.
