Michelle M. Watkins, age 47, of Lebanon, OH, passed away peacefully, surround by loved ones, on June 24, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born August 4, 1974, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Ron and Collette Willis.
Michelle enjoyed life and loved nothing more than spending time with her friends and family. A devoted friend, she was a mentor to many people and was always available to help a friend or family member in a time of need. Thoughtful and compassionate, she would often send cards, flowers, gifts and care packages to those when they least expected it.
Michelle loved the water, and her happy place was on the beaches of Florida listening to the waves crashing on the shore, while enjoying time with her family. In between vacations to Florida, she could be found poolside enjoying the sun and water or going to the movies, one of her favorite pastimes. She was known as the family’s party planner and found great joy in coordinating surprise parties, family outings and get-togethers for friends and family. A keen eye with the camera, Michelle enjoyed photography, taking pictures for weddings, family photos, senior pictures, pets and many of her children’s events throughout their school years.
Michelle is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Watkins, son, Jacob Watkins, daughter, Taylor Watkins, parents, Ron and Collette Willis, brother, Jason (Julie) Willis and sister, Erin (Jeff) Hawes.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022, at BridgeWater Church, located at 3100 Princeton Road, Hamilton, OH 45011 from 3:00 PM until the time of the celebration of life service at 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance on Michelle’s Memorial
