Nicholas Neidich, age 94, entered peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 19, 2026. A man of deep Christian faith, unwavering integrity, quiet strength, and genuine kindness, Nick left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Born on August 19, 1931, Nicholas was the son of the late Andreas Neidich and Elizabeth (Kunz) Neidich. He was one of nine children in a close-knit family and is survived by his beloved siblings, Clara Klappert and Jake Neidich. He was preceded in death by his parents and his other brothers and sisters.

Nick graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for two years during the Korean War before embarking on a distinguished career in structural engineering.

In the 1970s, Nick co-founded AE Development Corporation. Through hard work, vision, and honesty, he helped build a company that reflected the values by which he lived.

In 1960, Nick married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Marilyn (nee Shepler). Together they built a home filled with love, faith, and devotion to family. Marilyn preceded him in death in July 2006, and after twenty years apart, they are now joyfully reunited in the presence of the Lord.

Nick is survived by his three sons, Robert (Karen), Richard, and David (Karen). He was a proud grandfather to Steven (Liz) Neidich, Jenny (Matthew) Fenton, Kayla (Billy) Brumett, John (Cassandra) Neidich, Rachel (Dane) Christoffersen, Dayna (Adam) Scholl, and Kim Neidich, each of whom brought him immense joy. He was also blessed with 4 great- grandsons: Joseph, Daniel, and Samuel Peter Fenton and Wyatt Brumett.

Nick was loved by all who knew him. His warm smile was ever-present and had a remarkable way of putting others at ease and brightening their day. He possessed a gentle spirit, a humble heart, and an enduring concern for those around him.

Above all, Nick loved the Lord. He faithfully read and studied God’s Word throughout his life, finding particular comfort and inspiration in the Psalms, the Gospel of John, and the Book of Revelation. His faith in Jesus Christ shaped his character, guided his decisions, and sustained him through every season of life.

While his family grieves his passing, they rejoice in the assurance that he is now at perfect peace, resting in the presence of the Savior whom he loved and served. His life stands as a testimony to faith, perseverance, humility, and love.

Nick’s memory will be cherished always by his family, friends, and all whose lives were enriched by his steadfast love, gentle smile, and unwavering faith.
