Palarta D. Sampson

Parlata D. Sampson, a beloved member of his family and community, was born on July 15, 1973, and departed this life on November 22, 2025. He was a man of warmth and kindness, deeply cherished by all who knew him.

Parlata dedicated himself to his passions, which included an enduring love for reading and an enthusiasm for watching sports, particularly football. He found joy in both the stories contained in books and the excitement of the game, often sharing these moments with those closest to him.

He was a caring father to his son, Donavan Sampson, who benefited immensely from Parlata's guidance and support. His legacy extends to his parents, Regina and Gregson Ford, who instilled in him values of hard work and compassion, shaping the man we all admired. Parlata also shared a special bond with his brothers, Eugene Sampson Jr. and Torrey Sampson, who will carry forward his memory and spirit.

Parlata leaves behind four nieces and nephews, who knew him as a loving uncle and friend. His heart was broadened by laughter and connection, and he will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege to be a part of his life.

He was predeceased by his beloved grandmother, Helen Brooks, who provided love and wisdom that left an indelible mark on his life.
