Patricia Drozd

November 29, 1955 — May 1, 2026

Patricia Pfeifle Drozd passed away peacefully on the morning of May 1, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was 70 years old.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Patricia carried the strength and resilience of her roots throughout her life. She met life head on with clarity, capability, and a steady presence that others could rely on. She did not wait for things to come together. She made them happen.

Patricia was a nurse who began her career in Philadelphia, caring for others with both compassion and confidence. She had a natural instinct to step in when it mattered most, bringing action in moments of uncertainty and a sense of calm and comfort to those around her.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gene Drozd; her daughter, Genine Fallon; her sons, Mark and Patrick Fallon; and her son, Robert Drozd, his wife Alisha, and their son Grayson.

Patricia found joy in the things she could build, nurture, and create. She had a true green thumb and took pride in her garden. Baking was more than a hobby, it was a craft. She built a library of recipes and had a remarkable ability to recreate something simply by seeing it or tasting it.

That same spirit showed up in how she created and entertained. Her Christmas decorations were unmatched. Her cakes felt like something out of an expensive bakery, and every ribbon and every gift carried a sense of care and magic. She approached life with action and intention, bringing ideas to life with her own hands.

Self taught in many ways, Patricia built her own woodshop and created constantly, sewing, quilting, and crafting meaningful gifts for those she loved. From elaborate diaper cakes to handmade quilts, everything she made reflected both her creativity and her care.

She was always willing to help and support those in her life, often showing up in practical, steady ways that made a real difference. She gave of herself freely and generously, always looking for ways to care for others. She believed in praying over what she was building and in bringing it to life with her own hands.

She cherished many roles in her life, but none more deeply than being a mother and grandmother. Known lovingly as “Grammy” and “Yellow Bus Mimi” to three very lucky grandsons, she gave her time, energy, and heart without hesitation. There was nothing she would not drop to bake cupcakes, read Green Eggs and Ham for the hundredth time, or sit down for a fiercely competitive game of Trouble. Her laughter, patience, and selfless love filled their days with warmth and joy, creating memories that will live on in their hearts.

Patricia loved dogs, though in truth all animals seemed drawn to her. It was not unusual for chipmunks, squirrels, birds, and even deer to gather near her window or sit beside her chair, as if they recognized the calm and steadiness she carried.

Above all, Patricia loved Jesus deeply and had a strong love for her country. Her faith and patriotism guided how she lived and what she stood for.

Patricia will be remembered for her steady presence, her creativity, her generosity, and the way she brought calm, comfort, and action when it was needed most. She lived with conviction, integrity, and strong character, and she showed those values through how she lived every day.
