Patricia Ann (Hausfeld) Friesz passed away on November 3, 2026, at the age of 92. She was the beloved daughter of Paul Joseph and Martha Agnes Hausfeld, a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edwin Arnold Friesz, who passed away in 2001. Together, they built a family and a lifetime of memories that remained at the heart of Patricia’s life. She was also preceded in death by her brothers James Edmund Hausfeld and Michael Paul Hausfeld.
She is survived by her brother, Timothy (Bonnie) Hausfeld; five children, Steven Paul (Kate) Friesz, Jeffery Friesz, Marybeth Friesz, Paul Joseph (Rebecca) Friesz, and Holly Ann (Stuart) Seltman; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom were a tremendous source of love and pride in her life.
A devout Catholic, Patricia’s faith was an important part of who she was. Family always came first, and she treasured the time spent bringing everyone together. She especially loved hosting family gatherings, creating occasions for loved ones to share stories, laughter, and lasting memories.
Patricia was a strong, outgoing woman who loved life and enjoyed socializing and making friends. She had a special love for golf and treasured the time she spent in her homes in South Florida and Northern Michigan. Cincinnati remained her primary home and the place where so much of her family life and many friendships were rooted.
Patricia will be remembered for her strength, her unwavering devotion to her family, her Catholic faith, and her warm, outgoing spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love, family traditions, cherished friendships, and countless memories that will live on through the generations.
Her family takes comfort in knowing that her faith has brought her home to eternal peace. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Special thanks to her wonderful caregivers and Hospice of Cincinnati.
