Beloved Wife of the late Norman Hathaway. Loving Mother of Staci (Tim) Becker. Dear Grandmother of Kody and Reagan Becker. Cherished Sister of Clearance DeVaughn. 

As a child growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio Pat enjoyed ice skating, performing as a majorette, and tap dancing. She also spent a lot of time in Maysville, KY visiting family on the farm. She attended Hughes High School. After graduation she married Norman Hathaway whom she met on a blind date. They enjoyed spending time at Moonlight Gardens and The Beverly Hills Supper Club. In 1971 she became the proud mother of Staci and became a fulltime mom. As a family they loved traveling to Gatlinburg, TN and Florida. Pat could always be found cheering on her daughter at sporting events and band competitions. She was also very involved in volunteering at church and her daughter’s school.

Recently, she was a devoted church member and took part in all the activities and programs offered for the seniors. She enjoyed playing dominos, going to the movies, and fellowshipping over food. The two most important things in Pat’s life were her relationship with God and her family. Her heart was fullest when surrounded by her grandchildren whom she loved beyond measure.

Pat passed away December 21, 2025 at age 85.

Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044, on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 10 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11 AM. Marshall Duke will be officiating.

Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason, OH.
