Patrick James Doran

Patrick “Pat” James Doran, 65, of Greenhills, Ohio passed away at his home on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Pat was born on November 23, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio to John and Lois Doran. He is survived by his wife Joy Lynn Doran, sister Mary Beth (Bill), his children and stepchildren, nieces, nephews, as well as many grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, one brother, and a granddaughter.

Pat was a Cincinnati native with deep ties to College Hill and the surrounding areas. His outgoing personality and infectious sense of humor drew him close to everybody around him. Whether he was sitting at The Eagles or on his front porch handing treats to the neighborhood dogs, Pat left an impact on everyone he met. Above all, the love for his family, especially his grandchildren, is what he will be remembered for most.

A visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Avenue, College Hill, OH 45224 on Sunday, April 26, 2026 beginning at 1:00 p.m. A formal service will begin at 2:30 p.m. with reception immediately following at The Eagles on Kinney Avenue in Mt. Healthy. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to either The American Heart Association or your local SPCA.
