Rebecca Riesenberg

Rebecca Riesenberg, a beacon of love and compassion, departed this world on December 1, 2025, in Blue Ash, Ohio. Born on February 18, 1972, in Hamilton, Ohio, Rebecca lived life with an exuberance that impacted everyone she met.

Her professional journey was defined by her role as Union President of Children’s Services, where she dedicated her heart and soul to advocating for the welfare of children and families. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, she was honored with the prestigious Woman of Excellence Award in 2025, a testament to her commitment and passion for service.

Rebecca was not only a leader; she was a cherished member of her family and community. She celebrated every holiday with joy and enthusiasm, creating cherished memories and traditions that filled her home with warmth and laughter. Known for her compassionate nature, she had a rare gift for making everyone feel important, always welcoming friends and family with open arms and the warmth of a hug.

Her vibrant personality shone in her many interests. Whether she was tending to her garden, capturing life’s beauty through photography, enjoying a leisurely round of golf, or sifting through records at her favorite shopping spots, Rebecca embraced every moment with joy. Her zest for life was infectious, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her.

Rebecca is survived by her loving husband, Tim Riesenberg, her sons, August and Nathan Garrison, and her stepchildren Joseph and Kurt Riesenberg and Emily Woodall Son-In-Law Michael Woodall. She was a proud grandmother to Conor and Regan Woodall, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. Rebecca's legacy also includes her beloved sisters, Amy Ballinger, Molly Sprinkle, and Katie Palmer, brothers Eric and Bill Palmer, and stepbrother Nick Davis. Her connection to family extended to her stepmother, Claire Palmer, and numerous cherished nieces and nephews..

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cheri Palmer, her father, Lou Palmer, and her brother, Scott Palmer. Their love and influence shaped her into the remarkable woman she became, and while they may no longer be with us, their spirits reside within her heart.

Rebecca’s life was a tapestry of love, kindness, and dedication, leaving a profound impact on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered, her legacy of compassion, celebration, and joy will continue to inspire generations to come.

Memorial Visitation will be held at Center Pointe Christian Church, 5962 Hamilton Mason Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45011, on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 10 AM until time of Funeral Service at 12 Noon.
