Regina Grace Chmiel

Regina Grace Chmiel (b. 4-11-2015) passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of Friday, February 5th at her home in Miami, Florida. She leaves behind her parents, Pam and Justin, and her big brother, Sebastian. Grandparents: Don and Jamie Chmiel and Bill and Joellen Jubara. Great-grandparents: Jim and Dottie Walters and Jibber and Jo Jubara. Aunts: Nicolette, Brianna, Marissa, Jessica, Leah, and Jane. Uncles: Aaron, Travis, Isaac, and Luke. Regina lived her short life to the fullest and traveled extensively, taking 12 flights in 9 months! She visited Spain, California, and Ohio, and saw both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Although her life was marked by suffering, Regina glorified God by living with peace and surrender. Through her beautiful example, we encountered the grace and mercy of God. To know Regina was to witness the mystery and dignity of human life, and God's particular love for each soul. We will miss our sweet girl. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 10th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Hodapp Funeral Home at 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd. Liberty Township, OH 45044. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 11th at 11:00 AM at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church at 15 Desales Ave. Lebanon, OH 45036. Vivian's Victory will be assisting the Chmiel family with the costs of the funeral. Donations may be made in Regina's memory online at www.viviansvictory.org/donate.
