Robert ‘Bob’ George Knauft, Jr., age 68, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 17, 2022. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 22, 1953, to Minnetta (nee Williams) and Robert G. Knauft, Sr.
Bob was a 1972 graduate of Western Hills High School and graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, & Managementwhere he was a proud member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity (SAE).
Bob was an avid fan of sports, including baseball, football, golf, and horse racing. A Cincinnati Reds season ticket holder for nearly 40 years, Bob was present to witness multiple World Series games, the Big Red Machine, and he never missed an Opening Day. If he was not watching games, you could find him fishing or playing golf. Bob’s razor-sharp wit and sense of humor constantly brought joy to those he knew and those hemet.
He is survived by his wife, Gia (nee Lingardo), his children, Samantha (James) Williams, Aniceta Knauft, and Robert KnauftIII; his mother, Minnetta (nee Williams); his sister, Deborah(David) Kouns; his niece, Rachael (Ned) Earley and great nephews Micah, Kai, and Rory; many cousins; and his mother-in-law Joan (nee Brester) Lingardo. Funeral services have been held. Family and friends are invited to join us for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Snyder House at Cottell Park, 5847 Irwin Simpson Rd., Mason, Ohio 45040.
