Robert E. Wildermuth

Beloved husband of Marilyn Ward Wildermuth and the late Geri Wildermuth (nee Hermes), loving father of Judy (Ben) Wells, Rob (Tenesia) and the late Joe Wildermuth; cherished papa of Ben Jr. (Carley), Joe (Abby) and Jack Wells; Paige, Brooke (John Reising), Sarah and Jackie Wildermuth; great grandpapa of Elizabeth, Trey and Louise Wells; stepfather of Gary (Meril) Ward, Beth (Greg) Carpenter, Kevin (Debbie) Ward, Diana (Tom) Nusekabel; grandpa of Carina, Austin, Chase and Gage Carpenter; Kyle and Mitch Ward; Grace, Celia and Lucy Nusekabel.  Bob Passed away on Tuesday January 24, 2023 at age 93. 

Born October 22, 1929 in Cincinnati, Bob is a graduate of Purcell High School (’47), The University of Cincinnati (BA ’51) and Xavier University (MBA ’58).  Bob began his career as a CPA, soon becoming President of the Kanter Corporation.  In 1985 he formed his own real estate development company, K & W Development.  Bob was involved in several major residential developments in the Cincinnati area including Forest Park, Landen, Carpenters Run and Heatherwoode.  Bob had a lifelong passion for traveling which often included trips with his grandchildren accompanying him. 

In lieu of flowers, honoring Bob’s dedication to Catholic education please consider a contribution to his Alma Mater Purcell-Marion HS or the Wildermuth Scholarship Fund at St. Xavier, St. Ursula Academy or Ursuline Academy.  Visitation at St. Rose Church 2501 Riverside Dr 45202 on Monday January 30 from 8:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30.  Condolences at hodappfuneralhome.com
