Cherished son of Joseph and Lola Shannon. Beloved brother of Joyce McCracken, Donald Shannon(Joyce) and Nan Shannon. Devoted uncle of Brian Mc Cracken, Michael McCracken(Tammy), Patrick McCracken, Kelly McCracken(Cyndi), Dan Shannon(Lynn), Kathleen Wicknick. Great uncle of Ryan, Christopher, Michael, Brendan, Casey, Connor, Joseph, Rachel, Christine McCracken and Kaleigh Wicknick.
Roger ran the Friars Club, which he loved, for many years and raised it out of the ashes to heights unknown. Roger was the Friars Club. A lifelong parishioner of St. Clare, which he also loved. The family would like to thank the wonderful, caring family he had at The Lodge Retirement Community, Glendale Place Nursing and Rehab Center and Vitas Hospice, who took loving care of him at the end. Donations made be made to any of the above.
