Obituary

Roy R. Muennich, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of love, faith, laughter, and cherished memories.

Born on February 7, 1932, Roy was a man whose greatest treasures were his Catholic faith and his family.

He loved the Catholic Church deeply and lived his life with faith at the center of it. But above all, Roy loved his beloved wife, Joan Moore Muennich, and his family more than anything in the world.

Roy was the proud father of five children: Betsy Muennich (Nick Kennedy), Jen DelRe (Mike), Joseph Muennich, Pam Jordan (Greg), and Ed Muennich (Kerri). His children and their families brought him tremendous joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

Roy was also a proud grandfather to Kenny, Eric, Sarah, Megan, Nicholas, Thomas, Jack, and William, and a great-grandfather to Kade, McKinley, Maisyn, Colton, and Rhett. His family was his greatest legacy, and the love he gave them will continue through generations.

Roy knew how to enjoy life and loved bringing people together. He had a special passion for Ford cars and enjoyed talking about them and admiring them. He loved hosting parties, where family and friends could gather, laugh, and make memories. He enjoyed playing cards, pitching horseshoes, singing songs, and sharing his wonderful sense of humor. And no one who knew Roy would forget his love of sweets! A good dessert was always a welcome treat.

Roy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joan Moore Muennich; his parents, Joseph and Deloris Muennich; and his brother, Ray Muennich.

Though Roy will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that his love, faith, laughter, and memories will remain with them always. His greatest gift was the love he shared with his family, and his legacy will live on in his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those fortunate enough to have known him.

Roy's life was a beautiful reflection of what mattered most to him: faith, family, friendship, and making memories.

May he rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord, reunited with his beloved Joan and those who went before him.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23
