GILBERT, Sam E. Beloved husband of the late Marie Gilbert (nee Hamlin). Dear brother of Mabel (Sam) Parman and proceeded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Sam was a recipient of the Purple Heart and was a P.O.W. Visitation will take place at the Hodapp Funeral Home 6041 Hamilton Ave., College Hill, Wednesday from 6PM until 8PM. Funeral Service will take place Thursday at 10AM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
