Sarah B. Uhle

Sarah Bauer Uhle was born March 10, 1949. She was the child of USAF Col. Richard B. Uhle and Dorothy Bales Uhle, both deceased. Sarah was an excellent student and athlete. She played tennis, softball, field hockey and basketball. She got a perfect score on the math SAT in 1967. Sarah loved girl scouts, camping, scuba diving, her family and friends. Sarah graduated from Wyoming HS, attended Pembroke College, University of Maryland and received a Masters degree from Oakland University in Michigan. Her career in computer science, women's health and business spanned four decades. She worked at Oakland Univ., General Motors and Keane Co. Sarah lived and worked in Lansing MI for 30+ years. She is survived by her sisters, Ruby Webber of Ann Arbor MI, Karen Wray of Elk Meadow CO, brother Richard Uhle Jr. of Cincinnati, her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Sarah died August 31, 2025 from complications from a recent hip fracture. A private service for the family has been held.
