Sean Norman Ollerdisse, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on February 3, 1966, at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Sean was raised in the Pleasant Ridge neighborhood and attended Woodward High School. He was deeply rooted in the community that shaped him. During his early twenties, Sean coached a girls soft ball team at the Pleasant Ridge Community center for several years and loved it.
In March of 1985, Sean became a proud father to his first son, Kevin Ollerdisse, during his first marriage to Margaret Holt. After their divorce in 1987, Sean later was introduced to Angel Rounds by his father and soon married her on January 7, 1989 and remained her loyal husband until death. Their union brought 3 children: Kaitlynn, Liam, and Ian Ollerdisse.
Sean worked for many years in the hospitality industry, first at Losantiville Country Club in Pleasant Ridge and later at Clovernook Country Club, where he became a cherished member of the team. As the manager and cook at “The Nook,” Sean was known for his unforgettable sauces and beloved recipes. His dedication, passion, and warm spirit left a lasting impression on coworkers and members alike. The country club truly became his home away from home.
Sean didn’t subscribe to any one religion but he did have a firm belief in God and, in recent years, had been working to deepen his relationship with Him.
Sean was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Yulita Ollerdisse. He is survived by his wife, Angel; his children Kevin Ollerdisse, Kaitlynn (Ean) Moeller, Liam Ollerdisse and Ian Ollerdisse; and his grandson, Luca Ollerdisse. He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Alma Rounds; his brother, Robin (Gail) Ollerdisse; his sisters, Tamara (Dwane) Cowins and Danielle (Gabe) Fraley; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him deeply.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 3rd, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Clovernook Country Club, located at 2035 W. Galbraith Road, North College Hill, Ohio 45239.
Sean was certainly one of a kind and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
